The test tube feeder is our original product, which greatly facilitates feeding colonies in test tubes. The feeder fits test tubes with a diameter of 16 mm, both plastic and glass.

Description

The test tube feeder is equipped with a very small opening that allows a needle to be inserted and food to be administered using a syringe. This solution prevents the risk of ants escaping.

Furthermore, the ants are not stressed during feeding because we do not change their conditions by suddenly ventilating the tube.

The product is available in versions with needle thicknesses of 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm.

The smaller version is suitable for colonies of the Myrmica, Formica or smaller Camponotus species.

A larger hole will be ideal for larger Camponotus species, such as ligniperda, maculatus, herculeanus or nicobarensis.

    Wykonane z dość twardego materiału. Należy uważać przy wkładaniu żeby nie uszkodzić probówki (szczególnie szklanej).
