The tube portal is a place where food is very often fed. Over time, residues of nectar, protein or dirt can build up there, requiring thorough cleaning.

The feeding tray for the MK II test tube rack has been designed specifically to make keeping things tidy as easy as possible. It consists of a removable insert which acts as an additional shelf with dedicated spaces for food.

Once feeding is complete, simply remove the feeder, rinse it under running water and place it back in the portal. There is no need to clean the entire formicarium.

A comfortable place to feed

The feeder has specially designed compartments for feeding, making it ideal for feeding both nectar and protein-rich food.

You can use them to serve, amongst other things:

• nectar for ants,
• honey and syrups,

• other foods suitable for the species being reared.
