Description

Characteristics of the species Pamphobeteus fortis

Living conditions of Pamphobeteus fortis

To ensure suitable conditions for Pamphobeteus fortis in captivity, it is recommended to maintain high humidity (70–80%) and a stable temperature between 24 and 28°C. The terrarium should be spacious, with a minimum length of 30 cm on each side, equipped with a thick layer of substrate and spacious hiding places.

Diet and nutrition of Pamphobeteus fortis

Pamphobeteus fortis is a voracious species that eagerly consumes insect larvae when young, while adults can be fed larger crickets, locusts or cockroaches. Regular feeding and access to fresh water are essential for maintaining the spider’s health.

Reproduction of Pamphobeteus fortis

Breeding Pamphobeteus fortis in captivity is possible, but often challenging. Males have a significantly shorter lifespan and reach sexual maturity faster than females. The support of an experienced breeder can greatly increase the chances of success.
