Pamphobeteus fortis is an impressive ground-dwelling tarantula, known for its massive build and attractive colouring. This species originates from the humid rainforests of Colombia and is one of the rarer species in the terrarium trade.

Living conditions of Pamphobeteus fortis

To ensure suitable conditions for Pamphobeteus fortis in captivity, it is recommended to maintain high humidity (70–80%) and a stable temperature between 24 and 28°C. The terrarium should be spacious, with a minimum length of 30 cm on each side, equipped with a thick layer of substrate and spacious hiding places.
