Coconut fibre – a natural decoration and construction material for ants and tarantulas

Coconut fibre is a lightweight, resilient and completely natural material that works well in formicaria and terrariums. Often used as both a decorative and practical element, it allows you to mask technical elements, create nests and shelters, and maintain humidity in selected parts of the tank.

Why is it worth it?

Natural and safe – contains no chemicals or colourants, 100% plant-based.
The preferred nesting material for many ant species, especially those with more “forest” preferences, such as Camponotus or Crematogaster.
Supports local humidity – helps maintain the microclimate in one place without the need to irrigate the entire space.

Use in ant breeding:
