The BraPlast 19 x 19 x 12 cm rearing container is a practical, transparent tank with a lid, which is ideal for rearing tarantulas and other invertebrates. With a capacity of 3 litres, it offers more space than the smallest starter containers, whilst remaining easy to place on a shelf, bookcase or rearing stand.

This is a good choice for young and growing ground-dwelling tarantulas, smaller species, scorpions, mantises and other terrarium animals that require a simple and functional enclosure.

The dimensions of 19 x 19 x 12 cm allow you to prepare a decent layer of substrate, place a cork bark hideaway, add moss, leaves or other decorations, and still leave the animal plenty of space to move around. The square base makes it easier to plan the interior and offers more layout options than narrow transport containers.

The transparent sides allow you to observe the tarantula without having to constantly open the terrarium. This is particularly handy when checking for moulting, feeding, the animal’s condition and the general state of the terrarium.

For breeding, quarantine and rearing

The 3-litre BraPlast container is ideal not only as a permanent rearing container for smaller tarantulas, but also as a temporary holding container, a rearing container, a quarantine area or a secure transport container when moving the animal.

It can also be used as the base for a ready-made breeding substrate for tarantulas, by adding coconut coir, cork, moss, sphagnum moss, lichens and a small bowl of water.
