Description

The coconut hide is a natural half of a coconut shell, which works perfectly as a shelter and decoration in a tarantula terrarium. Thanks to its organic appearance, it blends in well with coconut substrate, cork, roots, moss and other elements of a natural terrarium setup.

Half a coconut creates a ready-made, sheltered space which the tarantula can use as a resting place or a base from which to further expand its hiding place. This is a particularly practical solution in terrariums for ground-dwelling species and younger individuals, who tend to prefer low, stable shelters.

The shell has an unpolished surface, which gives it a more natural, raw appearance. It can be partially covered with substrate, combined with moss, or placed against the wall of the terrarium to create a more discreet nook. If necessary, the entrance can be lightly covered with substrate to ensure the hiding place is suitable for the size of the tarantula.
