The Happet 15W 3.0 m heating cable is a flexible silicone cable designed for heating terrariums, vivariums, aquariums and breeding racks. In tarantula breeding, it serves as a practical heat source where spot or linear heating of a specific part of the enclosure is required.

The 3-metre length allows you to easily adapt the cable route to the layout of the terrarium or several smaller containers placed side by side. Thanks to its flexible design, the cable can be routed through the desired heating zone whilst maintaining a cooler area, making it easier to create a temperature gradient.

The cable is made from high-quality silicone, making it moisture-resistant, preventing it from becoming stiff and ensuring it withstands prolonged use. When laid correctly, it remains discreet and does not detract from the terrarium’s design. The 15W model is a good choice for smaller and medium-sized breeding set-ups where stable, controlled heating is essential.

To ensure safe operation, it is advisable to connect the heating cable to a thermostat or temperature controller. During installation, the cable must not cross over or come into contact with itself, as this may lead to overheating and damage to the cable.
