Glass terrarium 20 × 20 × 20 cm made from 4 mm thick glass. Fitted with top ventilation with insect screen, which ensures air circulation whilst preventing small insects from entering. The 5 cm high front allows for the use of an appropriate layer of substrate and gives you the freedom to arrange the interior as you wish.

Glass terrarium, 20 × 20 × 20 cm

The 20 × 20 × 20 cm glass terrarium is a versatile, compact tank that provides ample space to create an interesting layout, whilst taking up very little room on a shelf or bookcase. Its sturdy construction from 4 mm glass, raised front and fly-proof ventilation make this a practical terrarium designed for keeping small invertebrates.

4 mm thick, sturdy glass

To build the terrarium, we use 4 mm thick glass, which ensures the structure has sufficient rigidity and stability. The transparent walls make it easy to observe the inhabitants and allow the interior layout to be clearly displayed.

The regular shape of the terrarium also makes it easier to arrange several tanks side by side – which is particularly useful for larger breeding set-ups.

Top-mounted fly-proof ventilation

The model is fitted with fly-proof ventilation located at the top of the terrarium. This ensures a constant exchange of air, whilst its fine mesh acts as an additional barrier against flies and other very small insects.

This is a practical solution, particularly when keeping invertebrates, where sufficiently fine ventilation can be far more important than in traditional terrariums.

5 cm high front panel

In this model, we have used a 5 cm high front panel, which provides more space for the substrate layer. This allows you to use soil, coconut fibre, sand or other substrates suitable for a particular species, and to create a more elaborate interior layout.

A suitably high rim also helps to keep the substrate inside during day-to-day maintenance of the terrarium.

The dimensions of 20 × 20 × 20 cm offer a good balance between a compact size and the space available inside. The terrarium allows you to use decorative elements, hiding places, plants and ornaments, whilst remaining easy to set up and maintain.
