Lasiocyano sazimai, also known as the Brazilian tarantula, is a medium-sized tarantula characterised by its spectacular colouring. It is an excellent choice for novice breeders due to its gentle temperament and relatively simple breeding requirements.

Diet and nutrition

Lasiocyano sazimai feeds on various insects, such as crickets, locusts, cockroaches and mealworm larvae. The size of the food should be adequate for the size of the spider, with adult specimens recommended to be fed every 1-2 weeks and younger ones more frequently.
